...That does not involve eating babies. Although that should definitely be included in Walking In Stations for, um, roleplaying purposes.
I was flying through Empire space as a true pubbie does, going from region to region for purposes that range from running level 4 missions to mining ice--I had to stop when the goonies blew up my Mackinaw--to running level 4 missions. As I jumped from system to system, I heard this sort of half-hearted mmmmmm-schewwww noise that frankly did not sound anything at all like my gigaton ship being hurled lightyears across space.
So I thought, "Why doesn't CCP add different, improved, and cool sound effects for the different racial gates when you jump through them?" Sound effects like, for example, this.
Oh wait. Those were the sound effects we had. And CCP took them out for no reason. Literally no reason. Now we have the same boring crap for each gate we jump through. Thanks, CCP. You know what I'd like? I'd like it if you put the different gate effects back in the game. Just like I'd like it if you'd fix lag.
This isn't even a hard thing to fix. Hell, pretend it's part of the Retribution "expansion" and cram it in as a footnote. Just change it back. |
